Mulamkuzhi-Confluence of the rivers Periyar and the Perumthode

Mulamkuzhi is a small village in Ernakulam District of Kerala. It is situated at the confluence of rivers Periyar and Perumthode, about 15 km from Malayattur (Malayattur, 47 km from Cochin is famous for the Catholic Church on the 609 m high Malayattur Hill dedicated to St. Thomas). The place is dotted with crystal clear medicated water and tiny waterfalls. Mulamkuzhi River and Venanbravady waterfall are major attractions.

How to Reach?
Nearest Railway Station isAngamaly(around 17 km away from Malayattur, serves the village) Besides this, lot of privatebuses plying on this route One can also reach here from Perumbavoor via Panankuzhi on a country boat
